Full Job Description Description:
Cleaning Technician is responsible for keeping public areas, restrooms, waiting areas, offices, and other public spaces clean, safe, and presentable for passengers, staff, and visitors. This role supports daily operations by maintaining high sanitation standards and responding quickly to cleaning needs throughout the facility.
Requirements:
Clean and sanitize terminals, restrooms, break rooms, offices, gates, and common areas. Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and empty trash and recycling containers. Restock restroom and janitorial supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper. Respond promptly to spills, waste, and other cleaning or safety issues. Follow airport safety procedures and proper handling guidelines for cleaning chemicals and equipment. Report maintenance concerns, damaged fixtures, or hazardous conditions to supervisors. Support cleaning schedules during busy travel periods, weather disruptions, and overnight shifts. Provide courteous service while working around passengers, airline personnel, and airport staff. Work Environment and Physical Requirements Work is performed in airport terminals and support areas with constant public activity. May require standing, walking, bending, lifting, and pushing cleaning carts for extended periods. Must be able to lift moderate weight and use standard janitorial tools and equipment safely. May be exposed to noise, cleaning chemicals, and changing shift demands in a fast-paced environment.
