Caregiver/Med Passer AM SHIFT!!!

Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using tools like Hoyer lifts when necessary Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols, ensuring resident safety at all times Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to track health status Provide compassionate Alzheimer's and dementia care to promote comfort and cognitive engagement Support residents with meal preparation, feeding assistance, and ensuring proper nutrition intake Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties within resident rooms and common areas Document all care activities in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems accurately and promptly to ensure seamless communication among team members Experience Prior experience in assisted living or nursing home environments is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and dementia or memory care techniques Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral management skills is advantageous Familiarity with home & community care practices, long-term care settings, or personal care homes is beneficial Proven ability to work effectively in group home or retirement home settings with a focus on safety and resident well-being Strong interpersonal skills for engaging with residents, families, and team members while maintaining professionalism Join us in providing top-quality senior care that emphasizes dignity, independence, and compassion.
