In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a safe, engaging, and loving environment for infants and toddlers. Your energy and compassion will foster positive developmental experiences, ensuring each child's needs are met with care and professionalism. Duties implementing age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and cognitive development for infants and toddlers Support daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and playtime with patience and attentiveness Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment in compliance with health and safety standards Engage children through interactive play, storytelling, music, and sensory activities that stimulate growth and curiosity Observe and document developmental milestones and behavioral changes to inform ongoing care plans Support behavior management strategies that encourage positive social interactions and emotional regulation Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress and needs Qualifications Prior experience working with in a daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or similar setting is preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable; willingness to obtain certification if not already held Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Strong classroom management skills with the ability to support caregiving routines seamlessly Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a nurturing approach Passion for working with children, demonstrating patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills This position is ideal for compassionate individuals eager to contribute to the growth of young children through dedicated caregiving and educational support.
