CDL A Driver

Overview Join our dynamic team as a CDL A Driver and take charge of delivering freight efficiently and safely across various routes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate a range of commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, and dump trucks. As a CDL A Driver, you'll be the face of our company on the road, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Your expertise in truck driving and route management will be vital in supporting our commitment to exceptional service and operational excellence. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial trucks with manual transmissions, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, and dump trucks. Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks when necessary. Execute route driving assignments efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT standards. Manage delivery schedules by planning optimal routes for timely arrivals at multiple destinations. Handle freight securely during transit, ensuring proper load securement for flatbed or tanker shipments. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, delays, or issues encountered on the road. Qualifications Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record. Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver roles involving freight handling and route driving. Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles and various types of commercial trucks such as flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, or dump trucks. Ability to load & unload freight safely using forklifts or other equipment when required. Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures for commercial driving. Strong physical stamina to handle long hours on the road and perform vehicle inspections. Excellent navigation skills with experience in route planning for efficiency and timeliness. Pay:

$22.00 - $30.00 per hour
