Job Description

Don Franklin London Ford Lincoln is currently seeking a highly skilled Certified Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will perform comprehensive vehicle repairs and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help us uphold our reputation for quality service while providing an engaging and rewarding work experience. Prior experience is required and pay will be based on certification level and verifiable work history. Duties Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive issues, including engine, transmission, electrical, and mechanical systems Utilize schematics, automotive diagnostics tools, and technical manuals to identify root causes of problems Perform vehicle maintenance services such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and alignments Conduct advanced repairs on powertrain components and diesel engines Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive repair tools efficiently and safely Test drive vehicles after repairs to verify quality and customer satisfaction Requirements Valid certification as an Automotive Service Technician or equivalent certification from an accredited program Dealership experience is highly preferred, especially with Ford vehicles or similar brands Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including electrical, powertrain, transmissions, and diesel engines Proficiency in reading schematics and automotive electrical systems diagnostics Familiarity with automotive repair standards, safety procedures, and quality control processes Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Valid driver's license - Motor Vehicle Record will be reviewed prior to hire Apply via Indeed or online at www.donfranklinauto.com
