The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients, assisting them with daily activities, and ensuring their overall well-being. This role requires a blend of caregiving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while following care plans. Duties

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes in health status to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Assist clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times.
• Support memory care for clients with dementia or cognitive impairments through specialized techniques and activities.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to infection control protocols.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare team members regarding care plans and client progress. Qualifications
• Previous experience in caregiving or home community care is preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with medical records systems is a plus.
• Ability to measure and record vital signs accurately.
• Experience in dementia care or memory care techniques is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach towards clients.
• Ability to follow instructions carefully while demonstrating initiative in providing care.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel between client homes if required.
• Certification as a Home Health Aide or similar qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
