Job Summary Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Childcare Center Teacher, where your passion for nurturing young minds will inspire growth, curiosity, and confidence. In this dynamic role, you will create a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children across various age groups, from toddlers to preschoolers. Your expertise in childhood development and classroom management will help foster a love of learning while supporting each child's unique needs. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy education, math skills, physical education, and social-emotional development in line with early childhood education standards. Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and positive behavior management. Facilitate engaging lessons and activities tailored to the developmental stages of children, including toddlers and preschoolers. Monitor and assess each child's progress through observations and standardized testing when applicable; adapt teaching strategies accordingly. Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, address individual needs such as special education or early intervention services, and support child welfare. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment that complies with all health and safety regulations. Participate in ongoing professional development related to classroom management, Montessori methods, or other educational approaches to enhance teaching effectiveness. Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies. Experience in curriculum development focused on literacy education, math instruction, physical education, and Montessori techniques. Proven classroom management skills to foster a positive learning environment. Ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds and needs, including those requiring special education support. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with parents, colleagues, and children alike. Familiarity with daycare regulations, preschool standards, and child welfare policies. Competence in lesson planning, tutoring, behavior management strategies, and working with students across different age groups. Pay:
$17.15 - $18.00 per hour
