Childcare Educator (Credentials)

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Childcare Educator with proper credentials (EDU 119) to join our team. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children, supporting their developmental needs, and fostering a positive learning experience. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and possess relevant educational credentials. A background involving university experience is considered a valuable asset. Duties Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times by adhering to safety protocols and guidelines Observe and document children's progress, providing feedback to parents and team members Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages curiosity and learning Maintain clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environments with appropriate materials and resources Support children in daily routines such as meals, naps, and hygiene practices Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans and participate in team meetings Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's activities, progress, and any concerns Qualifications Valid credentials as a Childcare Educator or equivalent certification Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is preferred University experience or higher education related to early childhood development is highly desirable Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with children, parents, and colleagues Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for fostering a positive learning environment Ability to follow safety procedures diligently and maintain professionalism at all times This role is integral to supporting children's early development through engaging educational experiences.
