Overview We are seeking a dynamic and personable Member Service Representative to join our team! In this vital role, you will be the friendly face and voice of our gym, ensuring every member receives exceptional service from the moment they walk through the door. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help create a positive atmosphere while managing administrative tasks efficiently. Responsibilities Greet members and visitors warmly at the front desk, providing excellent customer service with a positive attitude. Manage multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries, schedule appointments, and direct calls appropriately. Handle check-ins and memberships using computer literacy skills, including data entry and membership management software. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, including filing, proofreading documents, and managing office supplies. Assist with calendar management for staff schedules and appointments. Support office management tasks such as filing, copying, and basic bookkeeping using tools like QuickBooks or Google Workspace. Provide support for member questions or concerns promptly, ensuring a welcoming experience that encourages member retention. Qualifications Previous office experience or clerical experience preferred; strong organizational skills are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications. Excellent phone etiquette with experience handling multi-line phone systems. Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve our diverse community effectively. Strong computer literacy with familiarity in data entry, proofreading, and basic bookkeeping (QuickBooks experience is advantageous). Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and professional appearance. Ability to manage time efficiently while multitasking in a busy environment. Prior experience as a dental or medical receptionist or personal assistant is beneficial but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!
