Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers with auto transmissions across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Collaborate closely with team members to coordinate load & unload activities at multiple delivery points with text/call in/ pictures procedures. Ensuring cargo safety and proper handling. Manage route driving responsibilities with a focus on timely deliveries while maintaining fuel efficiency and vehicle maintenance standards Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to optimize delivery schedules and resolve any operational issues promptly 24/7 dispatch. Qualifications Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record and recent experience operating tractor-trailers in a team setting min 1 yr / 2 yr preferred Proven delivery driver experience with knowledge of route planning and navigation tools Ability to load & unload freight safely using forklifts or other equipment as needed Experience in handling freight that requires special attention such as expedite.
