Cleaning Technician

Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold cleanliness standards. Conduct floor care procedures such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to maintain a professional appearance. Utilize carpet cleaning equipment to remove stains and dirt, ensuring carpets are fresh and hygienic. Maintain janitorial supplies inventory and restock cleaning stations efficiently to support ongoing operations. Follow established environmental services protocols to minimize waste and promote eco-friendly practices. Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed safely and in accordance with company policies and OSHA regulations. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure swift resolution. Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or institutional environments. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, carpet cleaning, and buffing equipment. Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and effectively. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness. Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and performing manual tasks throughout shifts. Familiarity with environmental services best practices is preferred but not required.
