In this role, you will operate and set up a variety of precision machining equipment, including CNC lathes and milling machines, to produce high-quality components. Your expertise in blueprint reading, CNC programming, and mechanical knowledge will be essential in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our production processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to complex manufacturing projects while honing your technical skills in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Set up and operate manual and/or CNC lathes, mills, and other machining equipment required Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders Measure and inspect parts to ensure they meet specifications and tolerances Select proper tooling, fixtures, and materials for machining operations Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment clean and organized Maintain accurate production and inspection records Work with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules and deadlines Follow all company safety and quality procedures Maintain a clean and organized work area Qualifications Previous machining experience required Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Experience with CNC programming is a plus Ability to work independently and efficiently Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a shop environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Pay:

$15.00 - $25.00 per hour
