This position plays a critical role in ensuring orders are shipped accurately, inventory is maintained properly, and materials are organized and accounted for at all times. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced shop environment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities Prepare, package, and ship outgoing orders accurately and on schedule Receive incoming materials, verify quantities, and inspect shipments for accuracy or damage Maintain organized inventory and storage areas Track and update inventory levels within company systems Coordinate with production, purchasing, and office staff regarding material availability and shipment timelines Load and unload deliveries using forklifts or other equipment when needed Label, stage, and organize materials for jobs and customer orders Conduct routine inventory counts and assist with cycle counts and audits Ensure all shipping paperwork, packing slips, and documentation are completed correctly Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shipping and inventory areas Follow company safety procedures and operational standards Qualifications Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory experience required Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks Basic computer skills and experience with inventory systems preferred Forklift experience is a plus Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a shop/warehouse environment Strong attention to detail and accountability

Pay:

$15.00 - $20.00 per hour
