Job Summary:
We are looking to hire a skilled Machinist/CNC programmer to operate and maintain our CNC equipment. You will be responsible for the fabrication of custom machined components used in fixture and machine assemblies as well as prototypes and small production runs. To ensure success experience working in manufacturing, a keen eye for detail, organized, and the ability to work unsupervised is required.Job Accountabilities:
Work from drawings and written instructions to create custom components used in fixtures, machines, prototypes, and production products. Program parts to be machined and operate CNC Mill. Set up all tools, fixtures, and controls necessary for each new job. Adjusting machine settings to the desired control part dimensions or product specifications. Troubleshooting issues during the machining process. Completing quality control tests during the manufacturing stage and on the final product in conformance with ISO regulations. Maintain a clean and safe workplace at all times. This includes cleaning of machine and work area on a daily basis. Communicate internally on work related information. Perform other activities (machine builds, assembly, etc.) as needed.Job Requirements:
High school diploma or GED. Proven work experience as a Machinist/CNC programmer (3-5 years) Ability to read and interpret design blueprints. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently and stick to a deadline. Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift heavy objects. Ability to work after-hours when necessary/required.
