CNC Press Brake Setup/Operator (Guaranteed Overtime)

We are a growing precision sheet metal fabricator, looking for an experienced CNC Laser Setup/Operator. This is a Day Shift position. (6:00am - 4:30pm) We work 50 hours per week. 10 hours per day, Monday through Friday. (10 hours of guaranteed overtime every week.) You'll ensure the efficient running of a CNC press brake. A great machine operator is reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. On-the-job training is a good way to discover how to do the job better, so you should have willingness to learn and improve. Being a team player is essential since all tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers. The goal will be to ensure that production procedures will be carried on smoothly to maximize efficiency and quality. Responsibilities Set up CNC press brakes to start a production cycle Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. back gauge, tonnage, etc.) Operate machine safely Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws Keep records of approved and defective units of final products Daily machine preventative maintenance Fix issues that might occur during the shift Skills Attention to detail Teamwork and communication skills Additional Benefits Air conditioned shop Sick Days Annual paid shutdown between Christmas and the New Year Check out our videos at www.mysheetmetalparts.com
