Commercial HVAC Estimator

Base pay plus bonus can exceed 300k per year!

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial HVAC Estimator to join our team. As a construction estimator, you will be responsible for estimating and selling commercial construction projects. This is a key role that requires a strong understanding of commercial HVAC construction pricing and client relationship management.

Duties:

• Produce accurate estimates for both design build and plan spec HVAC construction projects
• Secure construction contracts through competitive bidding
• Develop relationships with clients to secure ongoing work
• Review projects during construction and upon completion to ensure that future project pricing is accurate
• Collaborate with clients, project managers, engineers, and other subcontractors to ensure project requirements are understood and met
• Review and negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors
• Read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Commercial Estimator in the HVAC industry
• Strong knowledge of estimation principles and practices
• Strong knowledge of California building code
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate both in person and through email
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
