As a Companion, you will play a vital role in fostering a safe, engaging, and respectful environment while assisting with daily activities and promoting well-being. Job Responsibilities Offer companionship and emotional support to individuals, promoting social interaction and mental stimulation Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and organizing living spaces. Follow established care plans, including dementia, Alzheimer's, or memory care protocols, to support residents' specific needs. Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams, family members, and clients to deliver comprehensive care. Skills Proven experience in home health, assisted living, or long-term care environments. Familiarity with dementia care, Alzheimer's care, and memory care strategies. Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect empathetically with diverse populations. Basic cooking skills to prepare meals that meet nutritional guidelines for seniors or individuals with special dietary needs. Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances while maintaining professionalism and patience.
