Construction Estimator

Construction Estimator/Project Manager Construction Estimator Lambert Contracting, LLC is currently for a estimator who has 6 years or more experience in project estimating in Civil Construction. The central goal for the estimator position will be to prepare accurate estimate reports for projects by gathering information, materials, identifying labor costs, and time requirements by studying blueprints, proposals, and related documents.

Responsibilities:

Solicit quotes from subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers. Analyze company data, monitor budgets, and prices. Estimating and developing total cost packages. Identify labor, material, costs, and time requirements by researching proposals, blueprints, and any other related documents/materials. Prepare detailed cost estimate reports. Conduct risk assessments. Oversee different stages of a company project to ensure that expenses follow as forecasted. Present detailed reports to management. Identify risks associated with projects.

Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years in an estimator position with Heavy Civil Construction preferred. Efficient in estimating and developing costs package for construction projects. Current on market conditions and unit pricing of construction materials. Estimate projects with plan to construct. Review and understand subcontractor pricing and responsibilities. Proficient in relevant software including Microsoft office, Adobe, Procore, and other project management/estimating/administrative platforms. Strong problem-solving abilities. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to proficiently manage time. Lambert Contracting, LLC is a privately owned company located in Hollywood, AL that performs heavy civil and building construction in the North Alabama and Central Southern Tennessee areas.
