Job Description:

Estimator for Demolition, Earthwork, Excavation, Site Utilities and Concrete will be responsible for performing quantity take-offs, cost analysis, and competitive bidding for various construction projects. This role requires expertise in estimating software and knowledge of construction costs and practices, making it essential for the successful execution of projects construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform quantity take-offs for various projects. Conduct cost analysis and prepare competitive bids. Utilize current estimating software for bidding processes. Pursue new bidding opportunities relevant to our capabilities. Build and maintain relationships with current customers and vendors. Support superintendents with their needs to execute projects efficiently. Collaborate with team members to promote teamwork and efficiency. Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.

Qualifications:

College degree related to Construction Management, Estimating, or Engineering, or equivalent experience preferred. 3+ years of estimating experience in excavation, grading, earthwork, and underground utilities. Strong knowledge of construction costs and budgets. Familiarity with construction practices, techniques, and equipment. Proficient in MS Office, PlanSwift or similar takeoff program, and Trimble Business Center, B2W or related estimating software. Knowledge of 3D modeling is a plus. Motivated to learn at a minimum. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Self-motivated with a results-driven approach. Exceptional organizational and time-management skills. Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.
