Construction Laborer

Job Description Upper Midwest Athletic Construction has been building the athletic facilities where communities compete, train, and come together for nearly 40 years. From high school running tracks to professional sports venues, our work is visible, lasting, and something our crews take pride in long after the job is done. We are looking for construction laborers who are ready to work — people who show up, keep up, and take pride in doing things right. This is not a desk job. You will be on job sites across the upper Midwest, working outdoors in all conditions, traveling with your crew, and putting in the kind of hours that get facilities built on time and built to last. Duties and Responsibilities Perform hands-on construction labor on athletic facility job sites Assist with site preparation, layout, and installation of athletic surfaces and equipment Painting and finishing of acrylic sport courts including tennis, basketball, and pickleball courts Installation of rubber resilient track surfaces Operate hand tools and basic power equipment as directed Work alongside experienced crew members to complete projects on time and to spec Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site Requirements Must be able and willing to travel and work out of town — this position requires extended time away from home during the construction season Reliable, motivated, and willing to work hard Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods Prior construction or labor experience a plus — we will train the right person Valid driver's license preferred Must be able to pass a background check What We Offer Competitive wages based on experience Steady, full-time work with an established company Opportunity to grow with a company that has 40 years in the industry Work you can be proud of — built into your community

Pay:

$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
