Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Physical Therapist supporting students during a maternity leave coverage for the 2026-2027 school year. This on-site position is set to begin early September and will extend through early February, providing essential care within an educational environment near Andover, MN. In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring continuity of services for students in need of physical therapy support.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid and current MN Physical Therapist (PT) license (must be attached with resume for consideration) Experience in a school-based setting is preferred Comfort with covering for maternity leave and adapting to a pending caseload Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Strong organizational skills to manage therapy services and documentation Ability to work a full-time schedule, Monday through
Friday Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized and group PT interventions that help students achieve optimal physical functioning Consult with educational teams, teachers, and families to help integrate therapy goals into students' daily routines Conduct assessments and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements Monitor student progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary approach in supporting student development
