Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and presentation appeal Assist with menu planning by suggesting new dishes and seasonal specials to enhance the dining experience Maintain proper food handling procedures to uphold safety and sanitation regulations at all times Manage food prep stations efficiently, including chopping, measuring, and assembling ingredients for meal service Support catering and special event needs by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining quality standards Ensure all kitchen equipment is clean, organized, and functioning properly to promote a safe working environment Serve guests promptly and courteously, providing excellent customer service during peak hours Qualifications Prior experience in food service, restaurant kitchens, or culinary roles is highly preferred Knowledge of dietary department practices and dietary aide experience is a plus Strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, knife handling, and meal assembly Familiarity with menu planning and food industry standards for safety and hygiene Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Experience with catering services or fine dining settings is advantageous Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards serving guests and supporting colleagues Embark on a rewarding culinary journey where your skills make a difference!
