POSITION SUMMARY

If you are high energy, confident, and love starting conversations with new people, this role is for you. As a Costco Lead Generator, you represent General Air Conditioning & Plumbing inside Costco Warehouse locations, engaging members in friendly, professional conversations about home comfort and the Costco Lennox HVAC Program. This is not a high pressure sales role. You are not closing HVAC systems. Instead, you are starting conversations, building trust, educating members, and helping them take the next step. That step is a no cost, no obligation HVAC consultation with one of our trained Comfort Advisors. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys talking to people, thrives in face to face environments, and is motivated by performance based earnings. Success comes from energy, confidence, consistency, and professionalism. Not pressure.

OBJECTIVES

Engage Costco members in friendly conversation and establish rapport Ask thoughtful questions and answer member questions regarding the Costco Lennox HVAC Program Submit accurate member information so an estimate may be scheduled Ensure the highest level of member satisfaction consistent with General Air's and Costco's mission and values Consistently engage members within proximity of the Lennox display in a professional and respectful manner Provide friendly, energetic assistance Attend company meetings and training at General Air's office

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Proactively engage Costco members near the Lennox display in a friendly, professional manner Build rapport and establish trust through natural conversation Ask thoughtful questions to understand member comfort needs Educate members on the Costco Lennox HVAC Program and what to expect in the process Prepare and pre-qualify interested members for a consultation with our Comfort Advisors Collect and submit accurate member information through approved company systems Set proper expectations and ensure members feel comfortable with next steps Represent General Air and Costco with the highest level of professionalism Attend training sessions and team meetings as scheduled

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

Confidently engaging 30-50 members per shift Consistently generating qualified and well-prepared appointments Meeting or exceeding program lead generation benchmarks Creating a smooth handoff experience for Comfort Advisors Positive feedback from members, advisors, and warehouse staff Reliable attendance and strong follow-through

GROWTH PATH

This role is designed to grow with the program. High performers may have opportunities to advance into: Senior Lead Generator or Lead Generator Trainer roles Program leadership or support roles as the Costco program expands Comfort Advisor (Sales) positions for those interested in moving into direct sales Training, mentoring, or management pathways for consistent top performers We prioritize promoting team members who demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and results.

REQUIREMENTS

(EDUCATION

AND EXPERIENCE

) High School Diploma or GED required Minimum 2 years of customer service or sales experience preferred Ability to operate a smartphone or tablet Valid state driver's license Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 25 lbs

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

$20.00 per hour base pay Strong performance-based incentives, commissions, and bonus opportunities Expected hours: 20-30 per week
