Job Description

Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years CT Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into an essential imaging role offered in a small critical access hospital setting, supporting patients and clinical staff with expertise in CT and PET/CT technology. This 18-week contract is based in the beautiful Florida Keys and provides unique professional challenges alongside the stunning scenery of Marathon, FL.

candidates residing in Broward, Dade, or Palm Beach counties are ineligible for this opportunity.
Schedule:
6:30 PM - 7:00 AM 7 days on, 7 days off No on-call required 18 weeks in total
Qualifications:
Valid ARRT certifications in CT and X-Ray Current BLS certification College diploma or transcripts required for the application file Demonstrated experience as a CT or CT/PET Tech, ideally in a hospital environment Strong understanding of imaging protocols and patient care best practices Commitment to maintaining a positive attitude and clinical professionalism under varied circumstances
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain CT and PET/CT equipment to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout imaging procedures Accurately process images and assist providers with timely, precise results Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams in a fast-paced, critical access environment Troubleshoot equipment issues and adhere to quality standards for imaging services Maintain all documentation and records in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements This contract offers an engaging environment, a rotating week-on/week-off schedule for optimal work-life balance, and the opportunity to work with a tight-knit team making a direct impact in a unique community setting.
