IMAGING Are you looking to be a part of a compassionate care-giving team? At NMC Health, we're proud to set an award-winning standard for healthcare in the Wichita Metro Area. We are currently seeking an CT Technologist for our Imaging Department. In this role, you will deliver customer service with strong interpersonal skills for the purpose of delivering care and services to patients from diverse ethnic and social groups. In addition, you will be responsible for independent decision-making in the execution of all duties and may be assigned to be in charge of a modality, as well as, be able to delegate patient care assignments and duties based on the ability of co-workers. Additionally, you must strive to maintain the professional standards of Radiologic Technology which include utilizing clinical skills and critical thinking to assess, plan, provide, delegate, supervise, manage, and elevate patient care. This position reports to the Imaging Department Medical Director. Expectation to perform in both the RT and CT role within the department.QUALIFICATIONS
Education and experience: High school diploma or equivalent required 1-year of more preferred working as a CT Tech Graduated from an Accredited Radiology Technologist Program Knowledge, skills, & abilities: Demonstrates ability to identify problems and initiate actions for correction Has desire to obtain skills in limited technical aspects of laboratory operations Possesses basic computer operation skills Experience with department specific information systems is desirable Demonstrates oral and written communication skills Licensure, registration or certification: Registered ARRT Radiology Kansas Licensure for Radiology Technologist BLS CT Registered preferred, or minimum 1-year experience preferred Join our Team!
