  • $109,773 per year Depending on Experience ($2,220 Masters Stipend) Length of Work Year 2026/27 School Year Employment Type Full Time Job Summary Job Summary The CTE and/or STEAM Teacher (Arts Focus) provides interdisciplinary instruction integrating science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics through hands-on, project-based learning.
This role fosters creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration while supporting arts-infused experiences aligned with curriculum standards. The teacher works collaboratively with staff to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Required:
Must possess a valid teaching credential appropriate for the position such as Single Subject or CTE credential.
Requirements / Qualifications
This recruitment is to fill two (2) positions: one elementary school position and one shared middle/high school position. Candidates must hold the appropriate credential for the the assignment (e.g. Multiple Subject and/or appropriate CTE credential for the elementary school position; Single Subject and/or appropriate CTE credential for the middle/high school). The middle/high school position is guaranteed to be a split-site assignment for the 2026-27 school year. Assignment for the 2027-28 school year is subject to change based on district needs and available funding. This position is funded through Proposition 28, which includes site-specific funding allocations that may affect future assignment and placement.

  • Official Transcripts At the time of initial employment, credential unit members shall be given full credit on the salary schedule for their first ten (10) years of full-time teaching experience, whether in California or another state.
Thereafter, one (1) year of credit for each two (2) years of full-time teaching in California or another state will be allowed. Such experience credit shall only be allowed for public school teaching experience.
