The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of dental operations, patient scheduling, and call center performance, with a passion for delivering exceptional patient experiences. This position requires a hands-on leader who takes ownership of results, develops team members, and brings a strong sense of urgency to achieving daily, weekly, and monthly targets. Key Responsibilities Lead, manage, coach, and develop a team of dental call center representatives. Drive new patient appointment bookings, recall scheduling, and patient reactivation efforts. Build and maintain productive provider schedules by identifying scheduling gaps and maximizing appointment opportunities. Monitor daily performance metrics, including call volume, answer rates, appointment conversion, recall effectiveness, and scheduling efficiency. Establish clear performance expectations and hold team members accountable for achieving goals and targets. Provide ongoing training, call coaching, and performance feedback to improve team results. Lead by example by demonstrating exceptional communication, professionalism, and patient service. Collaborate with office managers and leadership to ensure schedules are optimized across multiple dental locations. Identify opportunities to improve call center workflows, patient conversion, and overall operational efficiency. Knowledge of dental terminology, treatment scheduling, insurance, and patient communication. Demonstrated ability to achieve performance goals and hold team members accountable. Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency and accountability. Preferred Qualifications Experience using Open Dental practice management software is a PLUS. Previous experience managing a dental call center or high-volume scheduling team. Experience supporting multiple dental office locations. Familiarity with call center reporting, performance dashboards, and appointment conversion metrics.
