Distinguishing Characteristics Incumbents work under general supervision receiving instruction on priority of projects and on the work methods and techniques to be followed in completing work assignments. The incumbent's primary responsibilities include devoting most of their time to providing direct supervision to subordinates, consumer and provider support, enrollment of providers in the In-Home Supportive Services and payroll systems, and enrollment and disenrollment of providers in the County Health Plan (CCHP) and administering COBRA.
Minimum Qualifications Education:
Possession of a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalency or a high school proficiency certificate.
Experience:
Four (4) years of full-time or its equivalent clerical experience, one (1) year of which must have involved supervisory responsibility, or three (3) years of full-time or its equivalent as a Senior Benefits Clerk or higher-level clerk in Contra Costa County.
