Full Job Description Summary:
The Showroom Manager is responsible for delivering exceptional customer experience while overseeing the daily operations of the showroom. This role combines sales leadership, customer service, merchandising, and team management to ensure the showroom reflects MSI's commitment to quality, innovation, and service. The Showroom Manager will inspire customers, support trade professionals, and drive showroom sales by creating a welcoming, informative, and results-oriented environment.

Monday to Friday from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM, 2 Saturday(s) a month from 09:00 AM to 02:00

This hourly, non-exempt position pays from $25 to $30 per hour, with overtime compensated at 1.5 times the base rate. New hires usually earn between $70,000 and $75,000 annually, or more, depending on experience, overtime hours, and bonuses. To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to complete the following essential duties and responsibilities: Manage the day-to-day operations of the showroom to ensure a clean, organized, and visually appealing environment. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills. Strong sales aptitude with the ability to build trust and close sales. Deliver an exceptional customer experience for homeowners, designers, architects, builders, fabricators, and contractors. Managed the workflow of the showroom with a team of 5-7 employees Lead, coach, and develop showroom consultants and support staff to achieve sales and service goals. Drive showroom sales by identifying customer needs and recommending flooring, tile, countertop, and slab solutions. Ensure all displays, samples, and merchandising reflect current product offerings and company standards. Coordinate customer appointments and assist with project selections from concept through completion. Build and maintain strong relationships with trade professionals and repeat customers. Monitor showroom performance, sales metrics, inventory levels, and operational efficiencies. Collaborate with warehouse, inside sales, and branch management to ensure seamless customer service. Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly. Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures. Additionally, the candidate must meet the following Education and/or Experience requirements: Three (3) years or more of retail, showroom, or sales management experience, preferably within flooring, tile, countertops, cabinetry, or building materials. Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills. Proven ability to drive sales while delivering exceptional customer service. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple customer projects simultaneously. Comfortable use of CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and point-of-sale software. Design knowledge or experience with interior finishes is highly preferred. Ability to lift and move product samples as needed. Bachelor's degree a plus Knowledge of flooring, tile, natural stone, quartz, porcelain slabs, and related products. Experience working with builders, designers, and contractors. Strong problem-solving and relationship-building skills. Passion for interior design and helping customers bring their vision to life.
