•School of Rock Palos Verdes We're looking for an exceptional General Manager to help lead one of the largest School of Rock locations in the world. Our studio is busy, fast-moving, highly relational, and full of energy. Much of this role is based at our front desk in the heart of the studio, where you have a front-row seat to everything happening around you. We need someone who stays engaged, notices what needs attention, and naturally keeps things moving. The right person is a force multiplier — someone whose presence makes the entire team stronger. We're looking for someone who: Has 3+ years of management, business operations, or comparable leadership experience Moves with urgency and thrives in a fast-paced environment Notices problems before someone has to point them out Takes ownership and follows things all the way through Has excellent written and verbal communication skills Leads confidently while still jumping in alongside the team Connects easily with parents, students, instructors, and staff Is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to pivot quickly Asks smart questions, learns quickly, and looks for ways to improve systems Brings positive energy, humor, confidence, and a genuine "we've got this" attitude What You'll Own You'll help oversee the daily operation of a large, thriving music school, including: Leading and supporting our front desk and instructor team Managing scheduling, staffing, and daily studio operations Creating an exceptional experience for students and families Solving problems quickly and confidently Supporting enrollment, retention, tours, and customer relationships Keeping the studio organized, prepared, and running efficiently Helping our ownership team continuously improve how the school operates A strong connection to music is important for this role. Offered pay will be based on experience, transferrable skills, and fit to overall culture and vibe of the studio.
