Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented person to join our dynamic team. They will lead customer support and parts-order activities while assuming broader ownership of inventory planning, parts procurement, supplier coordination, and supply chain improvement. The position connects customers, technical service, sales, suppliers, and management to improve product availability, order execution, cost control, and customer communication. Duties Serve as a primary point of contact for customers regarding parts, orders, shipment status, returns, credits, warranty matters, and service-related needs. Help customers and technicians' source and order the correct parts for equipment repairs and maintenance. Process customer parts orders, technician work orders, invoices, warranty or goodwill orders, returns, credits, payments, and inventory transactions accurately in SAP. Monitor open customer orders and proactively communicate backorders, availability, delivery timing, and issues requiring escalation. Coordinate with Technical Service, Sales, and management to resolve customer concerns and maintain a high level of responsiveness. Review stock levels, open purchase requisitions, demand patterns, supplier lead times, and upcoming service requirements to determine replenishment needs. Establish and maintain appropriate minimum, maximum, and reorder levels for frequently used and business-critical parts. Monitor critical, high-usage, seasonal, long-lead-time, backordered, slow-moving, excess, damaged, obsolete, and superseded inventory. Coordinate cycle counts and year-end inventory counts; investigate discrepancies and complete approved transfers, adjustments, scrap, or location corrections in SAP. Create, review, and coordinate purchase orders for stock replenishment, customer-specific requirements, and intercompany supply needs. Obtain and compare supplier pricing, availability, lead times, freight terms, and minimum-order requirements. Review part costs, selling prices, freight, and margins to identify errors, risks, and improvement opportunities. Lead practical cost-reduction and cost-avoidance initiatives involving sourcing, supplier pricing, freight, order consolidation, packaging, inventory levels, and purchasing practices. Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments and resolve carrier, freight, import/export, damage, shortage, and delivery exceptions. Ensure received products and outbound shipments are accurately documented and assigned to the correct SAP order, customer, technician, or inventory location. Perform other related duties consistent with the purpose and management level of the position Experience Experience in customer service, parts, purchasing, inventory control, warehouse operations, logistics, or a related field; agricultural equipment or machinery experience preferred. Working knowledge of SAP or another ERP system and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Microsoft 365. Strong communication, organization, analysis, follow-through, and problem-solving skills.
