Front Desk and Service Coordinator Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Administrator to join our family-owned and operated auto repair shop. This part-time position, with potential for full-time, involves providing excellent customer service, managing appointment scheduling, and supporting administrative operations. The role primarily operates Monday through Friday and requires a professional who can maintain a welcoming environment for customers. Duties Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally, providing information and scheduling appointments as needed. Greet customers upon arrival, check them in and out efficiently, and assist with small engine customer intakes. Receive payments accurately and process transactions in accordance with company procedures. Track repair progress, keep customers updated on status, and communicate any delays or changes effectively. Maintain organized repair orders, invoices, and office records to ensure accurate documentation. Support front office and administrative operations, including data entry and record keeping. Assist with general customer service duties to ensure a positive experience for all clients. Requirements Proven experience in customer service roles, preferably in an auto repair or similar environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong phone communication skills with the ability to handle inquiries professionally. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for data entry and record management. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism. Availability to work Monday through Friday during daytime hours (8:00am - 5:30pm); part-time schedule with potential for full-time employment based on performance.
