Objective As a member of the Gilson Customer Service department, the Project Manager is responsible for ensuring work is organized and scheduled, and that communication within and between departments, sales staff, and customers is handled on a daily basis. Supervisor This position reports to the Customer Service Manager. Roles and Responsibilities Customer service Inventory and fulfillment management Be the expert of assigned customers and internal projects Order entry Work with operations team to manage job schedules Direct the purchasing of materials Data management Website administration Packaging strategy pre-planning Workflow management Manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously Perform duties consistent with the company's goals and policies Requirements To successfully perform this job, an individual must be able to fulfill each role and perform each responsibility listed above. The following qualifications are representative of the education and training, experience, knowledge, and skills required. Education and Training Bachelor's degree, Associate's degree, or equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities preferred Experience (Preferred, but not required) Knowledge of offset and digital printing and mechanical finishing operations Fulfillment management, packaging strategy, mailing, and large format experience Customer-facing communication Deadline management Data management Attitude High expectations of self and others Demonstrated commitment to quality Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills in a data-driven environment Positive attitude with internal and external customers Knowledge and Aptitude Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat General understanding of graphic arts software (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator) Proper file management on computer desktops and office servers Pace, PrintStream, and other software programs or processes as directed by management Skills Communication Skills Communicate effectively with sales, production, and clients Read, analyze, and interpret written information Present information verbally and respond to questions Deal successfully with difficult people or situations Team Skills Work as a team member of the Gilson Customer Service team Build effective working relationships with others Present information and help solve problems in conjunction with co-workers and management
