Full Job Description Role Overview:
Grow your career and develop a team that shares your desire to make a difference! The Food Service Manager position is located at M Health Fairview St. John's Hospital in Maplewood, MN. This leader will oversee the café as well as support patient food service when needed. Great position for restaurant managers who desire a better work-life balance with friendly work hours. Employees at our healthcare sites play a crucial role in enhancing patient experience and well-being
What You'll Do:
create and deliver innovative and enriching cafe experiences for patients, family and staff daily deliver high quality food service mentor, develop, and retain frontline staff develop and maintain client and customer relationships oversee cash handing processes, and POS programming and maintenance ensure food and physical safety programs and standards are followed maintain integrity of retail branded concept standards (national and in-house brands) ensure all needed signage (including digital) is in place manage vendor relationships and compliance maintain all product merchandising, marketing and ordering standards are in place

Qualifications & Requirements:
Minimum Education Requirement
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience Minimum Management Experience
  • 2 years Minimum Functional Experience
  • 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
