POSITION SUMMARY
The Service Manager is responsible for delivering the expected Member and Guest experience and meeting/exceeding established performance metrics by operating all F&B service functions according to Club policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Member Experience Club Ambassador:
Maintain active and positive involvement with all Members. Ensure that all food service related Members and Guests experiences and outside function reflect favorably on the club.
Operational Execution:
Provide Members and banquet/event guests a great experience by ensuring that all food and beverage service team members deliver high-quality service in every transaction or interaction with Members.
Detail Management:
Provide Members/Outside functions and employees an inviting and safe environment by ensuring all routine cleaning, preventative maintenance, repair work and safety processes are appropriate and completed expeditiously in all food and beverage service areas. Monitor and report any repair and maintenance deficiencies to the General Manager.
People Training and Development:
Ensure all employees are properly trained and/or certified to successfully perform their duties. Work with the General Manager to identify high-potential employees.
Staffing:
Ensure service team members are properly staffed to meet Member and Guest demand.
Time Management:
Efficient schedule and utilize staff members to maximize service while controlling operational costs. Assign downtime duties and establish an efficient day-to-day routine for operations.
Processes & Procedures Operational Execution:
Ensure the department delivers a service level consistent with the image and reputation of like private country clubs. Ensure food is properly presented, and served professionally in a clean, safe and inviting atmosphere. Additionally, shall have the responsibility for the setup and service execution for all food and beverage related to all outside events.
Inventory Management:
Under the direction of the General Manager, order, monitor and inventory all beer, spirits and soft beverages associated with club operations.
Tools and Technology Current:
Ensure available tools and technologies are current and being used consistently.
Future:
Keep current with and recommend new tools and technologies that could improve Member and Guest experience and operational execution.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. to waist height Frequent bending turning, kneeling and stooping Exposure to hot and cold temperatures Must be able to stand for extended periods Repetitive motion required including computer entry Must be able to operate a golf cart in a safe manner Normal vision and hearing ranges required

$50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
