Job Description
Our client, a logistics and transportation company, is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join their team in Carson, CA. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, managing accounts, processing orders, and coordinating shipments while delivering timely and results-oriented solutions in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage customer accounts, orders, billing, and shipments from start to finish Process orders and maintain accurate records using PCC Database and WMS Respond to customer inquiries, complaints, and shipment issues promptly and professionally Coordinate container dispatch, returns, and load schedules Maintain accurate shipping, inventory, and storage documentation Conduct inventory checks and update system records accordingly Coordinate with internal departments to ensure service standards are consistently met Communicate customer feedback and escalate issues when necessary Maintain account procedures and documentation in an organized manner
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required 1-2 years of logistics or transportation experience preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer applications Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships Flexible availability to work extended or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
