Herb's Garage in Costa Mesa, CA is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team! This is your chance to be the face of a trusted auto repair shop, guiding customers through their vehicle service experience with confidence and care. Responsibilities:

Greet customers and serve as the primary point of contact throughout the vehicle service process Listen to customer concerns, accurately document vehicle issues, and create detailed repair orders Communicate repair recommendations, timelines, and estimates clearly to customers Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and accurate completion of services Follow up with customers on vehicle status updates and obtain approvals for additional repairs Upsell recommended maintenance services and parts to support shop revenue goals Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and a solutions-oriented mindset

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Service Advisor, Service Writer, or in automotive customer service preferred Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance terminology Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced shop environment Experience with shop management software or point-of-sale systems is a plus Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Positive, team-oriented attitude with a commitment to customer satisfaction
