Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and friendly Cashier/Customer Service Associate to join our retail team. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs in a courteous and professional manner Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments with precision and integrity Provide product demos and upsell items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to ensure an attractive shopping environment Assist with stocking, inventory management, and replenishing merchandise throughout the store Deliver excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and practicing effective phone etiquette Qualifications Prior cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities, are highly valued Demonstrated ability to perform retail math accurately for cash handling and sales transactions Experience supervising or leading team members is a plus but not required Knowledge of POS systems, merchandising techniques, and grocery store operations is beneficial Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours as needed Basic math skills combined with excellent customer service orientation are essential for success in this role
