Position Summary Customer Service Representatives play an important role in supporting our customers and internal operations. In this position, you will communicate with customers by phone and email, prepare invoices and reports, and work closely with our Service and Production departments to help ensure excellent customer experience. This role is also expected to demonstrate leadership through a positive attitude, sound judgment, strong follow-through, and a willingness to help coworkers and contribute to solutions. Responsibilities Respond to customer questions, requests, and service concerns by phone and email. Create and process customer invoices accurately and efficiently. Prepare reports for Production, Service, and other operational departments. Maintain accurate customer information and documentation. Coordinate with the Service Department to identify opportunities to improve customer service. Participate actively in team and department meetings. Demonstrate leadership by taking initiative, identifying issues early, and helping develop practical solutions. Support, encourage, and collaborate with coworkers to maintain a productive and respectful team environment. Help maintain the high level of service expected by our customers. Support day-to-day office operations as needed. Training and Support This position reports directly to the Customer Service Manager. California Linen Services uses proprietary, custom-built software, and full training will be provided by management and experienced coworkers. Qualifications The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment. They should be someone who leads through example, takes pride in their work, and contributes positively to the success of the entire team. Required qualifications : Minimum of 3 years of customer service experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong phone etiquette and the ability to handle customer calls professionally. Demonstrated leadership qualities, including initiative, accountability, sound judgment, and the ability to lead by example. Ability to work effectively with customers, coworkers, and multiple internal departments. High school diploma, college degree, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience. Strong sense of responsibility and follow-through. Team-first attitude with a demonstrated commitment to serving others. An ownership mindset, with the ability to take responsibility for work within your area of responsibility. Ability to learn and use computer systems and custom software. Bilingual in English and Spanish. Experience in an office-based customer service, administrative, service-industry, or business-to-business environment.
Schedule and Compensation Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Rotating OT Saturday shift, approximately once every six weeks, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
