Job Description
About the Job We are looking for a dependable Individual looking to grow into a shift lead role to help run daily shop operations, keep our team on track, and make sure our key cutting is fast and accurate. To clear up what we do: We are a dedicated retail key shop stationed inside local host stores. We specialize in cutting and duplicating automotive and commercial keys on-site. We are not an emergency mobile locksmith service. There are no midnight lockouts or roadside emergency calls—just steady, daytime retail shifts. What You'll Do Run the shift, lead by example, and keep things moving smoothly. Operate our digital key-cutting machines and software to duplicate car, fleet, and commercial keys. Greet customers, ring up sales, and help answer vehicle key questions. Keep track of key blank inventory and make sure the equipment stays clean and calibrated. Handle open/close duties, register counts, and secure the shop at the end of the day. What We're Looking For At least 1 year of experience as a shift lead, keyholder, or retail supervisor. Strong attention to detail—getting the cut right the first time matters. Great communication, reliability, and showing up on time. Comfortable using touchscreens, POS systems, and computerized equipment. Reliable transportation to travel to our host store locations as scheduled. No key-cutting experience needed—we provide full, paid training on all equipment.
