This position focuses on supporting individuals in achieving greater independence through educational, vocational, recreational, and community activities. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, demonstrates patience and professionalism, and is committed to making a positive impact every day. Essential Duties Assist participants with daily program activities and individual goals. Encourage independence, confidence, and social interaction. Facilitate classroom instruction, life skills, recreational, and community integration activities. Provide appropriate supervision while ensuring participant safety. Assist with vocational and employment readiness activities. Maintain accurate daily documentation and attendance records. Communicate professionally with supervisors, families, and interdisciplinary team members. Participate in community outings and transportation support as assigned. Follow all safety procedures, policies, and state regulations. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Experience working with adults with disabilities or human services preferred. CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain). Valid California Driver License with a clean driving record. Ability to pass DOJ/FBI background clearance. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
