$25-$30/hour | 40k-55k annual | 30-35 hours/week | Bonus + Benefits | San Marcos, CA Schaub Insurance Agency is looking for a smart, resourceful customer service professional who knows how to take care of people, solve problems, stay organized, and own their work from start to finish. Great at customer service and ready for a professional career with room to grow? We are looking for someone with strong customer service and administrative skills who genuinely enjoys helping people. Insurance experience is not required. We will provide insurance training and support you in obtaining your California insurance license. We are an award-winning boutique independent insurance agency in San Marcos entering an exciting period of growth and operational expansion. We are looking for someone who wants to learn the insurance business, develop professional expertise, and build a long-term career with our agency. This is a customer service and administrative position with a professional career path. You'll learn to assist clients, process requests, maintain accurate account information, work with insurance carriers, solve problems, manage follow-ups, and make sure things actually get finished. As your insurance knowledge and licensing grow, your responsibilities and opportunities will grow with you. You may be a great fit if you are the person who: Notices when something doesn't look right and fixes it Doesn't need to be reminded three times to follow up Likes getting things finished, not just touched Can handle an upset client calmly and professionally Knows the difference between being busy and actually getting things accomplished Takes ownership of a request from beginning to end Cares about clients and takes pride in doing excellent work What we're looking for: 3+ years of professional customer service, administrative, office, or account-support experience Excellent written and verbal communication Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly Resourceful, accurate, efficient, and able to prioritize independently Handles high-pressure situations well, excels at time management, and uses strong critical-thinking skills Highly organized and detail-oriented Able to learn technical information quickly and apply it accurately Values a stable work environment and is looking for a long-term employment opportunity Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel) Insurance experience is welcome, but not required Willingness and ability to obtain a California insurance license with agency support Why SIA? Pay:
