Job Description
Description We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support a high-volume customer contact environment in California. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, handling incoming inquiries effectively, and ensuring accurate order processing. The person in this role will serve as a key point of contact for customers while delivering timely service and maintaining clear, courteous communication.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to inbound customer calls and provide prompt, detail-oriented assistance for questions, requests, and service needs.
- Place outbound calls as needed to follow up on customer inquiries, confirm details, or resolve outstanding issues.
- Enter customer orders accurately into internal systems while verifying information for completeness and correctness.
- Address service concerns with patience and sound judgment, working toward efficient and positive resolutions.
- Maintain detailed and organized records of customer interactions, requests, and order activity.
- Communicate clearly with internal teams to escalate issues, coordinate support, and help ensure smooth customer service operations.
- Manage multiple customer interactions throughout the day while meeting quality expectations and response timelines. Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in customer service, call center support, or a similar customer-facing role.
- Ability to handle a steady volume of inbound calls with professionalism and strong attention to customer needs.
- Experience with order entry and maintaining accuracy when processing customer information.
- Comfortable making outbound calls for follow-up, clarification, or issue resolution.
- Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to remain courteous in fast-paced situations.
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail when documenting customer interactions.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting and adapt to changing service demands.
