Position:
Part-Time Account Manager•
Sales Support Hours:
Approximately 25-30 hours per week

  • Sales Support will be responsible for supporting existing customers while also helping Hemptique develop new business.
This is not simply an administrative customer-service position. We are looking for someone who is comfortable communicating with customers, identifying opportunities, following up consistently, introducing new products, and helping grow customer accounts. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain strong working relationships with new and existing customers. Provide professional, responsive customer service and sales support. Maintain regular communication with assigned customer accounts. Introduce new products and programs to existing customers. Identify opportunities to increase sales through cross-selling and upselling. Contact prospective customers and assist with developing new accounts. Communicate with customers through email, telephone, video conference, and online meetings. Arrange and participate in meetings with prospective and existing customers to present Hemptique products. Use Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, and other communication platforms when appropriate. Prepare and promptly submit customer purchase orders to the appropriate department for processing. Follow up on quotations, samples, purchase orders, deliveries, and customer inquiries. Follow up after purchases to ensure customer satisfaction and identify additional opportunities. Maintain accurate customer information, notes, follow-up activities, and sales opportunities. Assist with customer concerns and complaint resolution in a professional and timely manner. Credit Cards Qualifications Preferred Experience:
2-3+ years of customer service, account management, inside sales, sales support, or related experience. Experience developing and maintaining customer relationships. Previous distribution, wholesale, manufacturing, or B2B sales experience is desirable. Craft, hobby, textile, apparel, art supply, or related product experience is a plus, but not required.
Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong customer-service orientation. Comfortable speaking with new and existing customers. Strong follow-up and organizational skills. Associate or bachelor's degree is preferred but not required . Relevant professional experience, communication ability, reliability, and sales aptitude are more important to us.
