We primarily work with small business owners in the Colorado market and offer a full range of accounting and tax services from tax compliance and planning to year-end financial statements. Our duty is to clarify their financial world and help them plan for future financial growth and continued success. With that in mind, we are looking for a new team member to liaise with our clients and manage our firm's administration. Our mission is to provide pathways for our client's businesses to grow through actionable financial information. We create money saving strategies for our clients year-round, not just at tax time. Our firm supports over 400 clients and their families. All of our clients have two common goals in common: security and a debt-free life.
Summary:
Client Liaison is a key support role that ensures our clients receive exceptional service and support throughout their engagement with our firm while providing administrative support to all team members. This role plays a crucial part in allowing our professionals to focus on their core responsibilities.What We're Looking For:
- At least three years of administrative/office management experience; previous experience in a professional service setting preferred.
- Experience working in a billable role.
- Advanced level of proficiency in various software including Adobe, Excel, Outlook, and databases.
- Consistent and responsible work style.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Serve as the advisory team "quarterback", driving important touchpoints of engagement throughout each client's journey.
- As a key member of our professional services team, you support the team with a variety of administrative duties, various tax-related functions, and delivering an exceptional client experience.
- This position requires attention to detailed work, handling tasks with exceptional accuracy and careful attention to work quality.
- Ensure all standards of care are achieved across client relationships assigned.
- Responsible for establishing the client engagement plan and maintaining schedule of client meetings and proactive touch points.
- Drive and manage the team's preparation and follow-up activities for client projects and meetings.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, operational efficiencies and regulatory guidance.
- Upgrade systems and workflow as needed based on prior experiences and/or current inefficiencies identified.
- Firm administrative tasks and direct liaison with outsourced and marketing teams.

- You have an associates or bachelor's degree in business, marketing, information management or similar fields or combination of education and experience that provides an equivalent background.
- You have 3 years of applicable experience within professional services industry (i.e. accounting, law, consulting, engineering, RIA or insurance firms/agencies).
- You are highly organized and can effectively multi-task.
Essential Duties:
- Communication management: Manage all aspects of client communication to determine how to meet client needs.
- Administrative support: Scan, upload, and file documentation utilizing an electronic file management system.
- Firm administration: Answer phone calls, greet clients and walk-ins (less and less these days!), handle incoming/outgoing mail, assist in billing.
- You have exceptional written communication skills.
- You can balance a client experience mindset when managing and controlling business risks.
- You can work independently, collaborating with others to accomplish client objectives.
- You can adapt to changing information and business needs.
How You Can Grow:
- Tax Engagement Support. Client portal maintenance and access support. Collection support for executed engagement letters, e-file forms, and client supporting documents, etc., while ensuring timely delivery of completed tax returns and financial statement deliverables.
- Supporting co-workers to ensure consistent quality work.
- Plan for internal and external deadlines to ensure compliance.
Compensation:
- $21 per hour to start, 30-40 hrs depending on your schedule/availability. Feb/Mar/April 40-50 hrs a week.
