None Position Summary The Service Advisor coordinates daily administrative support for the service department, ensuring efficient shop operations and high customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include handling customer inquiries, directing calls, generating repair orders, processing billing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet service expectations. Essential Functions Generate detailed repair orders from inbound customer service requests. Serve as the primary point of contact for inbound service department phone calls, routing issues as appropriate. Provide accurate service estimates to customers as required. Ensure all repair orders are fully processed and signed by customers upon equipment drop-off or pickup. Prepare shipping, delivery, and receiving paperwork. Finalize and process all customer billing and invoices for the department. Track and assign parts used by service technicians to corresponding work orders. Create and process purchase orders (POs) for vendors, shop supplies, and merchandise. Schedule and prioritize shop repairs with technicians. Assist with departmental inventory control and parts audits. Draft operational correspondence and documentation for team leadership. Maintain an organized, professional work area and assist with special projects as needed.
Position Qualifications Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
Experience:
6 months to 1 year of administrative, customer service, or service-writing experience.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with standard office software, typing, and basic database/ERP data entry.
Core Competencies:
Strong written and verbal communication, detail orientation, time management, and collaborative problem-solving. #SN
