This full-time customer service and inside sales support position is the front line of our business, handling order entry, order processing, and B2B customer support for our industrial and manufacturing customers, along with some office administration and shipping. You'll learn our machinery, our replacement parts, our customers, and the recycling industry from the ground up. What You'll Do Answer customer calls and emails from manufacturers, recyclers, and plant managers promptly and professionally Help business customers place orders for machinery and spare parts, provide product details, and resolve questions Support orders placed through our online store for machines and parts Keep customer records and order details accurate and up to date in our system Process sales orders, returns, and exchanges with precision Work with our sales, field service, and parts teams to resolve customer concerns quickly Follow up with customers on open equipment and parts quotes every week Handle administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and parts inventory tracking Pack parts orders, book FedEx shipments, and pitch in across departments when needed What We're Looking For Someone motivated to learn, grow, and build a long-term career with Virtus Equipment A self-starter who takes initiative and follows through At least 2 years of customer service experience, ideally in inside sales, order processing, or invoicing Experience in manufacturing, industrial supply, distribution, or a B2B environment is a strong plus Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities Comfort with Microsoft Office and general computer applications QuickBooks experience preferred Familiarity with plastics processing, injection molding, extrusion, recycling, or manufacturing terminology is a plus Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required Ability to work in our office Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm Ability to lift up to 30 lbs to retrieve parts inventory, with or without reasonable accommodation Virtus Equipment is an equal opportunity employer.
