Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to provide administrative and customer support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position plays a vital role in processing customer orders, coordinating documentation, supporting production, and ensuring excellent customer service throughout the order fulfillment process.

Responsibilities:

Enter customer purchase orders accurately into the ERP system Create job folders and maintain contract review documentation Update customer order information and ensure system accuracy Prepare shipping documentation, proof of delivery, and customer reports Assemble shop/work order packets to support production scheduling Monitor customer portals and communicate updates to internal departments Research and resolve customer inquiries, order discrepancies, and billing issues Maintain order tracking logs, reports, and customer documentation Initiate and document customer quality alerts when necessary Provide general clerical support and backup telephone coverage Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and administrative projects

Qualifications and Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required 2-5 years of customer service, clerical, or administrative experience within a manufacturing setting Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and multitasking abilities Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments in a manufacturing environment
