Job Description

Cohutta Animal Clinic is seeking an outgoing Lead Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative to serve as the welcoming face of our hospital. In this leadership role, you will not only provide outstanding customer service — including scheduling appointments, managing client communications, processing payments, and educating clients on our services — but also help lead the daily operations of our front desk team. You will assist with training and mentoring fellow CSRs, monitoring hospital flow, resolving client concerns, and ensuring every client interaction reflects our commitment to kindness, professionalism, and exceptional care. Schedule and compensation:
Compensation:
$17-20 per hour, for each hour worked This is a Flexible, full-time 4/10 schedule , with availability Monday through Friday . No weekends required! Full-time Benefits Package•: Health package: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance and disability Employee Assistance Program (EAP) 401k - with company match beginning 2027 Paid time off in accordance with site policy and applicable law Personal pet discount Part-time team members may be eligible for limited benefits in accordance with company policy and state law Minimum qualifications and skill set: 1+ years of experience in a customer service, reception, or client-facing role Previous veterinary receptionist or healthcare-related front-desk experience required Proficiency in the following skills: Ability to manage high call volumes, schedule appointments, and multitask in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and client service skills with a compassionate, professional approach Experience with veterinary practice management software, medical records, and payment processing preferred Excellent organization, attention to detail, and time management skills Positive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to remain calm and solution-focused during busy periods Why choose Cohutta Animal Clinic?
