Customer Service Specialist Company Description Centralplas LLC is a leading manufacturer of corrugated plastic products serving the signage and packaging industries. Based in LaGrange, Georgia, we manufacture high-quality corrugated plastic sheets along with wire frames and rubber washer products. Our reputation is built on exceptional product quality, reliable service, and rigorous quality control standards, including visual inspection, dyne testing, squareness, flatness, and surface consistency. Position Summary Centralplas is seeking a full-time, on-site Customer Service Specialist to join our team in LaGrange, GA. This position serves as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring orders are processed accurately and efficiently while providing exceptional customer support throughout the order lifecycle. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, enjoys working with customers, and can effectively coordinate with internal production and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries. Key Responsibilities Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email regarding quotations, orders, product information, shipping, and general support. Receive and process customer purchase orders by accurately entering sales orders into QuickBooks. Prepare packing slips and communicate purchase orders, packing slips, and freight budgets to the production team. Monitor production schedules and inventory levels to provide customers with accurate shipping and pickup estimates. Send Bills of Lading (BOLs) and invoices to customers after shipments have been dispatched. Process and record monthly customer credit card payments. Follow up with customers regarding outstanding invoices and aging accounts receivable. Enter and verify vendor invoices by matching pricing and quantities against Bills of Lading and purchase documentation. Maintain and update open sales order reports to track order status and production progress. Coordinate shipments with freight carriers and logistics providers to ensure timely deliveries. Collaborate closely with production, accounting, and logistics teams to resolve customer issues and maintain efficient operations. Qualifications Fluency in Spanish is highly preferred. Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and professional demeanor. Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills with professional phone etiquette. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Experience with business software (Quickbooks, Microsoft Word, etc). High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate's or bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or a related field is a plus.
